Perhaps it should be worth mentioning that, like screenshots, pure lists of information cannot be copyrighted. Only the presentation of that data can be copyrighted by a guide writer. I've seen more than a few cases where a FAQ writer though that because they had made a list of all the enemies in the game and their stats, that any other list with the same stats was automatically a copyright violation. - [[User:Koweja|Koweja]] 20:40, 5 November 2007 (CST)

Excellent work, Garrett! This copyrights guide is easy to read and manages to summarize every area of copyrights that I can think of. If you missed anything, I'm not aware of it. In particular, the research you did on cheat devices is great! Good work, I'm all for using this! echelon 22:53, 23 June 2006 (PDT)

Nice, I like it, well done. -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 08:21, 24 June 2006 (PDT)

Company Copyright info

The only case I know of at the moment, but I can see this happening more, is of Nintendo saying that 1) all digital media is theirs (screenshots for instance), and 2)nothing can be used from their website. (http://www.nintendo.com/corp/faq.jsp#articles)
