Gradius II, relased in 1988 by Konami, is the first arcade sequel to Gradius, released three years earlier. It was ported to the NES later in 1988, and to the PC Engine in 1992. Neither port was released in North America.
Story
It's the last act of the Second Bacterian War, but the Bacterians are using a new strike force led by a leader named Gofer. Once again, the Vic Viper is Gradius' last hope.
