System Images

We already have one for GameCube (File:GameCube icon.png). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 11:29, 8 August 2007 (CDT)

I know. Now we need ones for the other consoles (and the GC one may have to be redone if Blendmaster does the others in a different style). --DrBob (Talk) 11:32, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
Personally, I happen to love this guy's work, but they're not 25px, they're more like 32px (standard icon size). Although, I thought they might be a nice replacement to the system logos you use on the Main Page WIP. But I assumed I'd be alone in that opinion. Procyon (Talk) 12:50, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
They are nice, but they're pixel art, and the rest of our icons use a smoother (more modern, if you will) style; they wouldn't fit in. --DrBob (Talk) 13:04, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
/me <3 pixel art Procyon (Talk) 14:41, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
Just resize them and apply a little blur if that's the only problem XD --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 13:48, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
That would never ever work. Procyon (Talk) 14:41, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
It worked for Image:GameCube icon.png. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:44, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
I'm not so sure; you can still see aspects of pixel-art-ness in the image. --DrBob (Talk) 16:18, 8 August 2007 (CDT)

Template:System browser

Well, I resized it so that it would get rid of this effect on 800x600 resolutions: http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/6056/browseryx1.jpg --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:22, 8 August 2007 (CDT)

The changes I made mean that it should spawn a scrollbar when it starts overflowing. It does for me. What browser are you using? Have you hard-refreshed (hold Ctrl+Alt+Shift and refresh) the page? --DrBob (Talk) 16:42, 8 August 2007 (CDT)
I'm on IE 7, 800x600 res while at work. As the picture shows (even after clearing the cache) the table sticks out. On FireFox, 800x600 the table is squished close enough together that even though a small bar appears, it is very minimal (lets you scroll maybe 8 pixels). --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 11:20, 9 August 2007 (CDT)
Doesn't look like anything changed. The "other" image and text still goes over the right edge and gets covered by the ads. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 16:34, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
Well I got it to work on User:Notmyhandle/Sandbox2 which uses the template from User:Notmyhandle/Sandbox. Notice I got rid of the surrounding box, and changed some stuff. The strange part is that in 800x600, it gives a scroll box for IE, but resizes it perfectly for Firefox. In 1024x768, IE looks perfect and Firefox has a scrollbar... Lol. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 23:49, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
The change I made was prior to my sandbox stuff... and I was hoping we could save an edit by progressing rather than reverting, but oh well. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 03:32, 11 August 2007 (CDT)

@#$*(!? apostrophes...

Man, I had no idea how prone to that one particular mistake I was. I mean, I would catch myself sometimes thinking, "Hmm... that apostrophe doesn't belong there," but it was really scary looking at your clean up and seeing just how frequently I'd make that same mistake over and over. I dunno, I always considered myself a math student, and never much of a writer. Naturally by writing so much content for this site, I'm beginning to realize just how bad certain writing skills of mine have become :P Anyway, thanks so much for taking care of that mistake, and I'll remain mindful of "its vs. it's" in the future. Procyon (Talk) 09:17, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

Not many people are aware of how often they mis-apostrophise things. I'm just glad to have been of service. :-) --DrBob (Talk) 09:25, 9 August 2007 (CDT)

Company Category Cleanup

Thank you. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 11:23, 10 August 2007 (CDT)
