Unlockables and Cheats[edit]
In the Game Boy and Game Gear versions, you can unlock cheats or other stuff by going to the Options Menu and changing your smiley's name to the following:

Cyberscape Level 1 Warps[edit]
Level 1 has a massive amount of warps. To access it, face the level 2 exit and shoot it 5 times. You'll warp behind the exit if done right. The room will have exits to level 10, 15, 20, and 25 from right to left, a speed power-up, and an extra life (which gives you nine lives all at once). When you grab the extra life, you'll notice the pod is still there. Shoot the pod three times and go to it again to grab a key. It'll open a door at the west where there's three power-ups, three more exits (30, 35, and 40), and a Ninja. Grab the power-ups, take out the Rover and go to the west where you'll find a dead end. Face south in the dead end, touch the wall, then shoot it once. Return to the green armor pod that's still there, touch it once, then shoot it twice for a yellow key should appear.
Take the key and go back to the dead end to find another room with two Ninjas, two power-ups, and exits to 45, 50, and 55. Shoot the Scanners and grab the items. Face the east near the exit to level 55 and touch the wall three times. Then go back to grab the black key replacing the weapon power-up and the door should open to reveal three Ninjas, more items, and exits to 60 and 65. After clearing the room, go to where you grabbed the Armor and face east. Touch the wall five times and shoot it once to break it. Four Ninjas will come out for you. Once they're destroyed, you can enter the final room to find the exit to level 70. If you die at any point, you only need to shoot the level 2 exit once to return.
