Once Sygnus has reappeared on the screen in mid-air, and landed upon the ground after his Vernier jump-jets have charged up again, start marching to the right as two White Missiles and six Green Missiles home in on you once you have passed under them; once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, five more White Missiles and three more Green Missiles will home in you, once you have passed under them. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, drop down off the edge of the platform to land upon the ground below, then continue marching to the left as eight more White Missiles home in on you once you have passed under them - and once you've fired a shot at each of them, to destroy them, activate your Vernier jump-jets in order to get carried up to the next platform. Once you've landed on the next platform, a Raiden will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you; once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, activate your Vernier jump-jets once again, in order to be carried up to the next platform. Once you land on the next platform, continue to march to the left (as two Green Bombs and a White Bomb come hovering towards you) - and once you've fired enough shots at each of these, to destroy them, two more White Missiles and two more Green Missiles will home in on you, once you have passed under them. Once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, activate your Vernier jump-jets for a third time in order to be carried up to the next platform; once you've landed upon the next platform continue to march to the left as two more Green Bombs and two more White Bombs come hovering towards you. Once you have fired enough shots at each of them to destroy them, three more White Missiles will home in on you once you have passed under them - and once you've fired a shot at each of them, to destroy them, drop off the edge of the platform to land on the next platform below and continue marching to the left as three more Green Missiles home in on you once you've passed under them. Once you have fired a shot at each of these to destroy them, drop off the edge of the platform to land upon the ground below, then continue marching to the right, as six more White Missiles home in on you, once you have passed under them; once you have fired off a shot at each of these, to destroy them, a Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, five more White Missiles and five more Green Missiles will home in on you as you pass under them - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them another Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you fire off enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, three more White Missiles and a twentieth Green Missile will home in on you once you have passed under them; once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them two more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of these, to destroy them, five more White Missiles will home in on you once you have passed under them - and once you've fired a shot at each of these, to destroy them, a Powered-Up Haken will come marching towards you while firing shots at you. Once you've fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, two more White Missiles and a twenty-first Green Missile will home in on you once you have passed under them; once you have fired out a shot at each of these to destroy them, two more Karura will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, three more White Missiles and a twenty-second Green Missile will home in on you, once you have passed under them - and once you have fired a shot at each of these to destroy them, five more White Missiles and a twenty-third Green Missile will home in on you, once you've passed under them. Once you've fired a shot at each of these, to destroy them, ten more White Missiles and five more Green Missiles will home in on you, once you have passed under them - and once you have fired a shot at each of them to destroy them, a Panpa will come marching towards you, while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at it, to destroy it, eight more White Missiles and two more Green Missiles will home in on you, once you have passed under them; once you fire a shot at each of them to destroy them, five last White Missiles and two last Green Missiles will home in on you once you have passed under them. Once you've fired a shot at each of these, to destroy them, two more Panpa will come marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you fire enough of your own shots at both of these to destroy them, a Tetra Pod and three Tetra Balls will come flying towards you while firing shots at you. Once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of these to destroy them, you will come to an enormous "Goruba" space probe, that is firing shots at you from all three of its windows, and homing missiles at you from directly below its second window; once you have fired enough of your own shots at all three of the windows to destroy them, a second Raiden will come marching towards you while firing shots at you.
Once you have fired enough of your own shots at this second Raiden, to destroy it, a Dakishiosu and another Powered-Up Haken will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired off enough of your own shots at both of them to destroy them, another Dakishiosu will come marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you've fired enough of your own shots at it to destroy it, three more Green Bombs will come hovering towards you. Once you have fired enough shots at each of these, to destroy them, a third Raiden and three more Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you; once you have fired off enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them, three Balls will come floating towards you. Once you've fired one shot at each of them to destroy them a third Dakishiosu and a tenth Karura will come marching towards you while firing shots at you - and once you have fired enough of your own shots at each of them to destroy them another Tetra Pod and three more Tetra Balls will come flying towards you (while firing shots at you). Once you've fired enough of your own shots at each of these to destroy them, four barriers will slide down behind you as you come to an enormous supercomputer (known as "Gelphaust", written in Katakana as ゲルプハウスト) firing shots at you from fifteen points; once you've fired enough shots at each of Gelphaust's fifteen firing points to destroy them, the entire background will turn white as the walls of the building begin to collapse around Sygnus, and the text "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU GAINED OVER THE FACTORY OF MONSTER WEAPON GELPHAUST. THE MISSION HAS COMPLETED." appears upon the screen after they've stopped collapsing. You will then be treated to a short cutscene which zooms out on the exploding territorial planet, and tells players who made it this far for the first time that the game is not over yet:
Once the screen has faded out to the shot of Sygnus's operator in his cockpit, he will proceed to the territorial area of Foskeivo for a second time, as the 2nd Strike begins; it's somewhat harder than the first one, and the "CAME TO AN END OF INTRODUCTION." text won't appear on the screen this time.
