Bison is the film's main antagonist, and the final boss of Street Fighter: The Movie and Street Fighter: Real Battle On Film. Other than the origin his superhuman powers, Bison is relatively close to M. Bison of Street Fighter II.
In the film, Bison was portrayed by celebrated actor Raúl Juliá. Sadly, Juliá passed away from a stroke several months after the film was released. He was credited as being Bison in the games and his likeness was used game teasers, promotional material, box art and scene that used footage from the film. In the fighting scenes in the games, Bison is played by Juliá's stuntman, Darko Tuscan.
Story[edit]
General Bison is a dictator who plans to mass-produce supersoldiers to take over the world. He holds sixty hostages including A.N. soldier Carlos Blanka for ransom for $20 billion dollars. He worked with illegal weapon's dealer, Sagat to supply his troops with weapons. He is responsible for the death of Chun-Li's father and transforming Blanka into a monster.
He believes himself to be a savior and a hero, but is sadistic and power-hungry as he has shown ally and enemy alike. He had plans to make his own city "Bisonopolis" with his own currency, the Bison Dollar. With the help of con men turned A.N. spies, Ryu, Ken, Bison's fortress was discovered by Allied Nations commander Guile.
As the A.N. forces, overwhelmed Bison's forces. He and Guile fought one-on-one. Bison was at first easily defeated, but electricity from a control console he fell into gave him the power to levitate and shoot lighting from his hands. As Bison became overconfident with his power, Guile took advantage and kicked Bison into the monitors assuming he killed him. By the end of the film, Bison's heart is restarted with electricity and his hand forced itself out of the rubble. On a computer screen the resurrected dictator selects "World Domination: Replay".
In endings for both the arcade and console versions, Bison takes over the world (if Bison had won).
