Bosses[edit]

ROUND 1: Giant Freezer - This enormous aircraft carrier is the first boss of the game; as the text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" appears on the screen for the first time, it will emerge from the ocean, as an infinite amount of additional Type 1 Air Wolves come flying towards your chosen aircrafts while firing projectiles at them and you will have the opportunity to kill them for 200 extra points apiece. It first attacks by firing projectiles at your chosen aircrafts, from the four small tail-mounted projectile cannons (which are each worth 100 points when destroyed) - and once all four of them have been destroyed, it will attack by firing more projectiles (and missiles) at them from its seven additional right-mounted projectile (and missile), cannons (the missile cannon is worth 500 points when destroyed). It will now start launching an infinite amount of additional Green Ninjas into the air as they fly towards them while firing projectiles at them (which you will have the opportunity to kill for 100 extra points apiece) as you are firing more shots at the three parts of the cabin (which are each worth 1000 points when destroyed); finally, it will start firing lasers (and more missiles) at you from its nine final front-mounted laser (and missile) cannons (the laser cannons are each worth 300 points when destroyed). Once all nine of these cannons have been destroyed, it will explode and you will receive 20000 points - and the text "ROUND 1 CLEAR" will then appear on the screen as you receive 2000 bonus points for every group of Green (and Blue) Soldiers you'd picked up during the round.

ROUND 2: Killer Boeing - This enormous aeroplane is the second boss for this game; as that text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" appears on the screen for the second time, you will come to it as it tries to stay ahead of you while firing projectiles at you from its tail (like the Cyclones). An infinite amount of additional Tekirai will also come flying down towards you from the top of the screen while firing Type 2 Missiles at you during this battle, which you will have the chance to kill and block for 300 and 50 extra points apiece respectively - and once you have fired off enough shots at it, to destroy two of its four wing-mounted cannons, it will begin flashing red. Once you have fired enough shots at it, to destroy its two remaining wing-mounted cannons, it will explode, and you will receive 20000 points; the text "ROUND 2 CLEAR" will then appear at the top of the screen as you receive 2000 bonus points for every Parachutist you picked up during the round. The second round is the first of only two rounds in the game to not feature any ground-based enemies whatsoever, along with Parachutists, instead of the usual Green and Blue Soldiers; the second is the eighth and final one, and once you have defeated the final boss of "King Concorde" at the end of that round, you will receive 10000 points for every mission classed as "COMPLETED" (if it classes one as "LOST TARGET", it means that you'd let its boss get scrolled off the bottom of the screen without defeating it).

ROUND 3: Devil Airbus - This even more enormous aeroplane is the third boss of the game; as the text of "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" appears on the screen for the third time, seven Green Tanks will come rolling down towards you from the top of the screen while firing projectiles up at you. Once you have dropped a bomb on each of them to kill them, two more Gray Boosters will roll out from under its right side, turn 90 degrees clockwise, then start rolling towards you while firing projectiles up at you - and once you have dropped a bomb on both of them to kill them, it will start moving forwards, severely limiting your mobility as it does so. An infinite amount of additional Gray Boosters will also come rolling down towards you from the top of the screen while firing projectiles up at you during this battle (which you will have the opportunity to kill for 300 extra points apiece); once you've fired enough shots at the wings, to destroy three of its cannons (which are each worth 2000 points when destroyed), it will start flashing red. Once you have fired enough shots at it to destroy its singular remaining wing-mounted cannon, it will explode, and you will receive 12000 points; the text "ROUND 3 CLEAR" will then appear upon the screen, as you receive 2000 bonus points for every group of Green (and Blue) Soldiers that you had picked up during that round.

ROUND 4: Power Station - This enormous industrial oil rig, which shares its name with the third boss of Ordyne, is the fourth boss for this game; once the text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" has appeared on the screen for a fourth time, two Yellow Tanks will roll down towards you from the top of the screen, while firing projectiles up at you. Once you've dropped a bomb on both of these, to kill them, you will come to five 501 Fourlegs that are firing projectiles at you from their position in the centre of the screen - and, once you have dropped a bomb on each of these to kill them, you'll come up to Power Station, which is the only static boss in the game and attacks by firing projectiles up at you from its sixteen small corner-mounted cannons which are worth 100 points when destroyed. Once you have dropped a bomb upon each of the cannons to destroy them, you will have to drop a seventeenth bomb on the central reactor (which will automatically be flashing red) to destroy it; once you have done so, it will explode, and you will receive 10000 points. That text "ROUND 4 CLEAR" will then appear on the screen, as you receive 2000 bonus points for every group of Green and Blue Soldiers you picked up during this round - and the only way you can "lose" this boss is if you do not destroy its reactor before it scrolls off the bottom of the screen.

ROUND 5: Hyper Cannon - Once that text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" has appeared on the screen for a fifth time eight Falcons will come flying down towards you from the top of the screen while firing projectiles at you; once you have fired a shot at each of these, to kill them, you will come to two Enormous Rotary Cannons, as they start rolling away from you (on their rails) while firing projectiles at you. Once you have fired enough shots at both of them to kill them, you will come to two Red Lograms that are firing projectiles at you from their positions on the right side of the screen - and once you have dropped a bomb upon both of them to kill them, you will come to two Type 2 Killer Antennas and Hyper Cannon, as they rotate in a clockwise direction in the centre of the screen, and the latter fires projectiles at you from its position in it. Once you drop a bomb on both of the Killer Antennas, to kill them, you will have to fire enough shots at Hyper Cannon to kill it; once you have done so, it will explode and you will receive 5000 points as you are coming to two more Red Lograms which are firing projectiles at you from their positions on the rocks on the left and right sides of the screen. Once you have dropped a bomb on both of these, to kill them, the text "ROUND 5 CLEAR" will appear on the screen, as you receive 2000 points for every group of Green and Blue Soldiers you picked up during this round - which is also the first one with enemies after the boss.

ROUND 6: Satan Midway - This enormous battleship is the sixth boss of this game; once the text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" has appeared on the screen for a sixth time, a Blue Booster will come rolling into view from its right side, while firing projectiles up at you. Once you've dropped a bomb on it to kill it, you will come to Satan Midway itself, as it starts sailing away from you while firing projectiles at you from its two front-mounted projectile cannons, which are both worth 500 points when destroyed - and once you have dropped enough bombs on both of these to destroy them, it will begin firing lasers at you from all eight parts of its central section, which are each worth 100 points when destroyed. Once you drop eight more bombs on all eight pieces of this section to destroy them, it will start firing Type 2 Missiles which can be blocked for 50 extra points apiece at you from its two cabin-mounted missile cannons; once you have fired enough shots at its cabin to destroy it for 10000 points it will start firing more projectiles at you from its six additional (two larger and four smaller) rear-mounted projectile cannons. Once you drop a single bomb on each of the four smaller projectile cannons to destroy them and enough bombs on both of the two (additional) larger projectile cannons to destroy them, the text "ROUND 6 CLEAR" will appear on the screen, and you will receive 2000 points for every group of Green and Blue Soldiers you picked up during the round - and unlike the previous round, this one has no additional enemies that you have to kill after the boss.

ROUND 7: Harrier Family - Once the text "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" has appeared on the screen for a seventh time, you will come to an enormous magenta-coloured helicopter; as it rises into the air and starts flying away from you while firing projectiles at you, its two "brothers" (of smaller blue helicopters) will come flying down into view on either side of it while firing Type 2 Missiles (which can be blocked for 50 extra points apiece) at you. An infinite amount of additional Type 5 Air Wolves will also come flying towards you, from the left and right sides of the screen while firing projectiles at you during this triple-boss battle (which you will have the chance to kill for 200 extra points apiece), and you will also come up to ten Blue Lograms and two Hidden Turrets which are firing projectiles up at you from their positions in the centre of the screen - but once you have fired enough shots at all three members of the Harrier Family to kill them, the text "ROUND 7 CLEAR" will appear on the screen, and you will receive 2000 bonus points for every group of Green (and Blue) Soldiers you picked up during the round. You will now proceed onto the eighth (and final) round, which is like the second in that it does not feature any ground-based enemies at all, and features Parachutists instead of the usual Green and Blue Soldiers; another thing that will happen once you defeat King Concorde at the end of it, is that you will receive 100000 points for every piece of "ARMOR" you have remaining (the maximum is 700000, if you chose to start with 5 pieces and gain 2 extras).

ROUND 8: King Concorde - This enormous aeroplane is the eighth and final boss of the game; once the text of "RED ALERT, TARGET IN SIGHT" has appeared upon the screen for an eighth and final time, two Cyclones will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen while they are firing projectiles at you from their tails. Once you've fired out enough shots at both of their tails to destroy them (and their bodies to kill them), you will come to King Concorde, which is trying to stay ahead of you in the centre of the screen while firing projectiles and Type 2 Missiles at you from its tail - and once you have fired enough shots at it to kill it (it will start flashing red when it is close to defeat) it will explode and you will receive 30000 points. The text of "ROUND 8 CLEAR" will now appear on the screen, as you receive 2000 bonus points for every Parachutist you'd picked up during the round; the text "RESULT OF OPERATIONS" will then appear on screen, as you receive 10000 points for every mission that the game is classing as "COMPLETED" (the maximum is 80000), and that text "SPECIAL BONUS" will then appear upon the screen as you receive 100000 points for every piece of "ARMOR" you have remaining (the maximum's 700000, if you chose to start the game with five pieces and gain two extras). Once the exploding King Concorde has scrolled off the bottom of the screen, both of your chosen aircraft will fly up off the top of the screen, and the game will go into high-score mode - but the player who has the highest "final" score gets to enter his initials first.

Soldiers and Parachutists[edit]

Occasionally, when you drop a bomb on a ground-based enemy to kill it a group of green (or blue)-uniformed POWs will appear with the text of "HELP!" above them; they're worth 500 points when picked up, and you will receive 2000 bonus points for every group you had picked up at the end of a round. On the second and eighth rounds, when you fire enough shots at a Cyclone or Boeing to kill it, a parachuting POW will appear and begin falling to the ground below as the text "HELP!" appears above him - and again, they are worth 500 points when picked up, and you will receive 2000 bonus points for every group you had picked up at the end of a round. However, if you did not manage to pick up any at all the text "SORRY, NO BONUS" will appear.
